Homebound is a real estate service platform that helps homeowners determine if their property qualifies for various services such as solar installation, construction, or renovation.
The goal was to streamline service discovery and drive qualified lead generation through an intuitive, modern digital experience.
There were various UX and technical challenges for Homebound:
We delivered a full-stack digital experience optimized for both performance and conversion:
First, we designed a modern and approachable interface in Figma. The design focused heavily on conversion, using an input-first approach that immediately encourages users to check their address.
On the technical side, the website was built using Webflow, which allowed for quick deployment and easy scalability as Homebound’s needs grow.
We integrated the Google Maps API along with custom JavaScript to enable real-time address validation. This provided users with instant, clear visual feedback directly on the map.
Also, we developed a robust content management system (CMS) that lets Homebound easily manage serviceable locations, available services, and frequently asked questions. This ensures the platform remains flexible and simple to update without requiring developer support.
Homebound’s address checker proved to be a powerful funnel, driving a 40% increase in qualified leads by effectively identifying and capturing users who were the right fit for its services. Thanks to smart UX and seamless API integration, customers could validate their location in under three seconds, creating a frictionless experience. This efficiency also led to a 90% reduction in customer support inquiries, as users no longer needed to contact support just to confirm service availability. While the system demonstrated high CMS scalability, it remained less developer-friendly, highlighting both its strengths and areas for improvement.
